NOPD releases video of ATM being ripped from front of Camellia Grill

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying suspects in the theft of an ATM that occurred on April 23 in the Camellia Grill on South Carrollton Avenue. At approximately 10 p.m., three men were seen via video surveillance breaking the front door of the Riverbend diner, wrapping an ATM with a chain and pulling it from its floor mounting with a white Dodge Ram pickup truck. Deceased man’s credit card used at Uptown corner store

 

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man wanted for a theft by fraud incident that occurred on April 22. At around 6:30 a.m., the pictured man was photographed making a fraudulent charge at a corner store located on Louisiana Avenue. He used the credit card of a 39-year-old man who died April 19 of an undisclosed cause at his home in the 1100 block of Terpischore Street. The man’s mother was notified that her deceased son’s credit card on their shared account had been used. The fraud suspect is described as a white man with dark-colored hair and an unknown tattoo on his right wrist.

Police seeking Coco, a miniature poodle who was stolen from her yard

The New Orleans Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in located a dog stolen on April 20. At around 10:30 a.m., Coco, the pictured 9-year-old miniature poodle, was secured by her owner on a leash in the front yard of their home located in the 2200 block of Brainard Street, near Jackson Avenue. Moments later, the owner’s neighbor informed her that a woman had taken the dog and ran off. The owner spent several days looking for Coco before informing police of the theft. Coco is described as black with gray patches, weighs 6 pounds, and is missing her right canine tooth.

Suspect sought in theft of Halloween decorations from Broadmoor yard

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in the investigation of the theft of Halloween decorations. The above intruder was seen removing Halloween decorations from the victim’s yard in the 3300 block of Napoleon Avenue on Oct. 13 at? 7:55 p.m. and again on Oct. 14 at 1:32 a.m.

Scooter theft on Laurel caught on video

The New Orleans Police Department is looking for information that can lead to the identity of a suspect involved in a theft incident that occurred on Oct. 23. At around 3:30 p.m., surveillance cameras recorded the pictured unknown male stealing the victim’s scooter from a parking lot in the 3800 block of Laurel Street.? See the video here. The reported stolen vehicle, pictured at right, is a gray 2019 Chicago Scooter Company moped bearing Louisiana license plate MC667512.?

Women sought in theft from Oak Street home

New Orleans police are searching multiple women wanted for theft and access devise fraud in the Carrollton area. The incident occurred on Oct. 5 in the 7700 block of Oak Street. The victim’s wallet and an engraved gold-and-silver Rolex watch were stolen from his residence by a woman attired in a black tank top and white shorts. One of the credit cards from the stolen wallet was used by two other women.

Theft of skeletons from Broadmoor porch caught on surveillance video

New Orleans police are seeking to locate the subjects sought in an investigation of theft in Broadmoor on Oct. 16. At around 1 a.m., surveillance cameras captured the pictured unknown subjects stealing two decorative skeletons from a homeowner’s porch in the 4200 block of South Galvez Street. The subjects fled down Galvez Street onto Napoleon Avenue.? See video here. Theft of checks from mailbox caught on video

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man observed on surveillance video committing a theft in the 5000 block of Prytania Street. On Aug. 14 around 5:40 a.m., a man was seen going through a mailbox and removing several envelopes containing. The subject then stuffed the checks in front of his pants and fled the scene. Anyone with information that can help Second District detectives identify and locate the wanted subject is asked to call 504-658-6020.

Suspect sought in cellphone theft

NOPD officers are seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate the pictured suspect in a theft incident that occurred near the intersection of Broadway and Zimpel streets. On Aug. 3 around 7:10 p.m., the victim was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with the pictured subject. During the fight, the victim’s cellphone fell on the ground. The subject allegedly picked up the victim’s cellphone and fled the scene.

Worker’s tools stolen from Hollygrove yard

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for two suspects, pictured above, in a theft from a Hollygrove yard. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Aug. 6,? at 12:40 p.m. in the 8700 block of Apple Street. The two males grabbed the victim’s yellow skill saw and yellow reciprocating saw from where they were lying outside on the residence where he was working. The incident was captured on security camera video and can be viewed here.
